What We Do

Kelley Dewatering specializes in three core areas: deep well dewatering for large excavations and high-water-table environments, pre-excavation consulting to help project teams plan efficient groundwater control before construction begins, and ongoing site maintenance and water supply to keep systems performing throughout the life of the project.

Our Mission

Kelley Dewatering and Construction Company partners with contractors, municipalities, and engineering firms to deliver dependable dewatering systems and responsive field expertise. With skilled people, specialized equipment, and decades of industry experience, we take ownership of every challenge: designing, installing, and managing solutions that reduce risk, control costs, and support successful project outcomes. Our mission is to provide reliable, high-quality groundwater management and construction support services that give our clients solutions they can build on.

Our Story

Kelley Dewatering has been in the ground since the 1960s. What started as Kelley Contract Dewatering grew into one of the most experienced deep well dewatering operations in the country. In 1994, the company transitioned to Kelley Dewatering and Construction Company, expanding its capabilities and client base across the Midwest.

In 2008, the company opened a second location in Colorado, extending its reach from the Midwest into the Mountain West and serving contractors on major infrastructure projects across the western United States.

In 2021, two long-term employees, Jason Creech and Brian Granum, purchased the company from the former owners. Under their leadership, Kelley Dewatering has continued to grow, bringing new operational discipline, stronger safety standards, and a renewed focus on responsive client service to an already proven operation. Today, the company serves contractors, municipalities, and engineering firms on projects spanning the continental United States.

The name has changed over the decades, but the foundation has not: skilled people, specialized equipment, and a commitment to doing the work right.
